Audio Engineered Speaker Diaphragms

In 2016, Oxeon successfully applied its TeXtreme® thin-ply carbon reinforcements to develop a novel speaker diaphragm – the Thin-ply Carbon Diaphragms (TPCD). This marked a significant technical and commercial milestone, prompting Oxeon to establish a specialized entity, Composite Sound, to focus on its audio-related ventures.

Composite Sound's TPCD diaphragm technology rapidly became the benchmark for high-performance speaker applications by facilitating a blend of high stiffness, minimal mass, and controlled resonances. Collaborative efforts with OEMs and speaker driver manufacturers led to the launch of products for high-end audio, home cinema, studio reference, and professional audio markets. The market now features TPCD-infused designs across various products, including tweeters, compression drivers, midranges, over-ear headphones, fullranges, and bass/midwoofers.
